Abstract

The article interprets cultural globalisation as a multidimensional philosophical phenomenon that changes the axiological foundations of modern culture. The relevance of the topic stems from the need to understand globalisation not only as a socio-cultural, but also as an ethical and anthropological challenge. The research method is the analysis of philosophical challenges generated by cultural globalisation and the interpretation of their impact on the logic and value foundations of modern cultural policy. Based on the works of Anthony Giddens, Ulrich Beck, Zygmunt Bauman, Arjun Appadurai, Homi Bhabhi and other thinkers, it is shown that globalisation is not only a socio-cultural process, but a phenomenon that causes a profound transformation of the way of cultural life. The methodological basis is based on hermeneutic, comparative and axiological approaches that integrate the philosophy of culture, political philosophy and cultural anthropology. The study argues that globalisation goes beyond integration processes and functions as a moral space. Cultural policy is interpreted as a practical embodiment of philosophical reflection and a marker of humanistic maturity, revealing the ability of society to dialogue without losing its identity. The Ukrainian context illustrates openness to global communication, transforming cultural diplomacy into a form of ethical self-belief. It is concluded that cultural globalisation acts as a criterion of modern cultural policy, encompassing its axiological coherence, ethical orientation and philosophical level of self-awareness.
