Abstract

Bohdan Kalinichenko, a candidate of political science, senior lecturer at the Department of Civil Service, Public Administration and Political Science at Cherkasy National University named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky, recently published a fundamental monograph entitled “Information Warfare: Escalation Factors and Countermeasures”. In the current conditions of the unprecedented aggression against Ukraine unleashed by the Russian Federation, this study acquires special significance.
The leitmotif of the proposed study is the idea that the modern world is engulfed in an unprecedented technological revolution. Accordingly, its driver for the last half century has become information and communication technologies. This phenomenon permeates all spheres of activity of the individual, society and the state, including foreign policy.
