PECULIARITIES OF IMPLEMENTING EU ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STANDARDS FOR BUSINESS ENTITIENS IN UKRAINE

Abstract


The article analyzes the specifics of implementing European Union environmental policy standards in Ukrainian legislation and their impact on business entities. It is noted that the introduction of EU environmental standards is a crucial factor in ensuring sustainable development and a necessary condition for enabling Ukrainian goods and services to enter the EU market. At the same time, these transformations create both opportunities and significant challenges for businesses in Ukraine, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. The article reviews key regulatory acts, institutional mechanisms, benefits, and challenges associated with adapting to European environmental requirements. Recommendations are proposed to improve the harmonization process, taking into account the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
